The School aims to help individuals develop practical skills and knowledge while enhancing the quality of life within the Calgary community. Through learning the core principles and practices of community service work, students strengthen their professional competence and community engagement. The program also includes a Social Worker Mentorship Course, providing guided support and real-world insights from experienced practitioners.

This is the first bilingual community service program in Calgary, developed in collaboration with local Chinese community organizations and professionals in the human services field, including the Community Service and Care Association in Calgary, which has contributed to the program’s design and development. Although this is not a degree or diploma program, students who complete the coursework will receive a Certificate of Completion.
